Physical Therapist & Sports Performance Coach
Tyler offers a special skill set to Fortified Performance. Prior to earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Tyler completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University, and his Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. He also achieved distinction as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Using these combined fields of study, Tyler has a unique skill set in integrating his knowledge of exercise physiology and physical therapy to help golfers enhance their body’s function to play at both recreational and competitive levels. He has treated several golfers from a wide variety of age, skillset, and injuries to help them return to being able to golf without pain. Tyler has played golf for several years, and as a physical therapist, he understands the biomechanics needed to help professional and amateur golfers perform at the highest level. His athletic background, coaching experience, clinical expertise, and relentless passion for helping others are unmatched in his field.

Jacob has a passion for the golf swing, the sport of golf, and wellness/injury prevention. As a family nurse practitioner, he believes that fitness, mobility, and physical health allows people to achieve the greatest potential out of their lives. Jacob has been playing golf for 7 years and in that time has taken himself from a 15 to 4 handicap. He has spent countless hours over several years outside of his full time job learning different philosophies of the golf swing and understanding golf biomechanics. Coming from a collegiate football and bodybuilding background, Jacob has completely changed his life, his body, and his mind through his daily dedication to prioritizing his fitness, his golf practice, and his understanding of what professional golfers do to compete in the sport at a high level. He has increased his club head speed > 10 miles per hour over the span of 6 months through proper training and discipline. He represents Fortified Performance in his determination to prioritize his health and fitness to become the best golf athlete he can and in his passion to help others do the same.

Izzie has a passion for movement, fitness, injury prevention, and athletic performance. She began her golf journey 4 years ago and is a student of the golf swing. With her unique background of personal training and physical therapy, her goal is to use her knowledge for fitness, athletic medicine, and golf to work with both recreational and competitive golfers. She created Fortified Performance because she desires to educate golfers about injury prevention, movement, and golf performance to help them continue to play and enjoy the game of golf for the rest of their life. She believes that proper fitness, performance, and swing speed training can not only minimize the risk of injury and pain, but it also can improve the body’s capacity to play the sport of golf.
